A discount is available to guests who wish to bring their own linens and towels.
If you are staying 3 weeks or more during the peak season, we will discount your weekly rate by 15%.
Payment is typically by email transfer for those with Canadian bank accounts. Otherwise, options are available for payment by paypal, or by cashier's check or bank draft; or by personal cheque if you are using a Canadian bank account. If transfering funds from Europe, please ask for specific instructions when confirming reservation or availabilities. At the time of booking a rental deposit of is required to confirm & hold the booking and once the booking is held for you, all Kingfisher Cove policies, on this web site and in our contract, apply. Along with this rental deposit, we require the damage deposit of $375 in the form of a cheque, email transfer, direct deposit* or as arranged by the owner with you on the phone or in emails. The remaining balance of the rental is due 6 weeks before the beginning of the rental period.
All minimum stays, regardless of season, must be paid in full at the time of booking. Personal cheques will be accepted for the balance due but only if written on a Canadian bank account and only if dated and received by us 7 days prior to the usual due date - eg. instead of 6 weeks in advance, personal cheques are due 7 weeks prior to the first day of your booking. The cheque(s) must be received on or before the earlier due date and dated not later than the due date. Cashier's cheques should be made payable to Mariette West with Kingfisher Cove noted on the memo line; and sent by courier or posted by Global Priority Post or Express Post. $USD are accepted and we will give you the same exchange rate our bank gives us for on the day we deposit the funds. Please also see below re damage/security deposit, due with the final balance of the rental. All items posted to Kingfisher Cove should be posted to:
